Ingredients

  • SAUCE
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 6 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ⅓ cup minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1½ teaspoons ground red pepper
  • 1½ teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1½ teaspoons sea salt
  • 2¼ cups dark beer
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • ¾ cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • ¾ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ cup chopped fresh chives
  • TURKEY
  • 4½ cups hot cooked rice
  • 1½ pounds sliced leftover cooked BUTTERBALL® Turkey, heated

Directions

  1. Combine green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, chili powder, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, oregano, ground red pepper, red pepper flakes and salt in medium saucepan; mix well. Add beer; mix well. Cover; bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until reduced by one fourth.
  2. Add cream; mix well. Remove from heat; add butter and stir until melted. Stir in cilantro and chives. Keep warm.
  3. Place rice in serving bowl; top with turkey slices. Spoon sauce over turkey.
